I really like eavesdropping. It is so much easier here in the US where I can understand everyone (unless they’re speaking Chinese, which is a common in San Francisco, my hometown). Besides that obvious perk, though, I am also getting more distracted here, because whenever someone calls out in English, I spin around, thinking that they are addressing me. When abroad, I find that my consciousness and my thoughts are insulated by language barriers and I become more introverted. Do you?
