Undervisning vid LU sker på distans från och med imorgon

Den 17 mars kl. 14.30 hölls en presskonferens med anledning av coronavirusets spridning och Lunds universitets åtgärder. Följande punkter kom fram under presskonferensen. 

  • All undervisning och all examination vid Lunds universitet kommer att ske via digitala kanaler med start imorgon, onsdagen den 18 mars. Campus samt bibliotek och datorsalar hålls öppna, eventuellt med andra öppettider.
  • Internationella utbyten ställs in till och med den 30 juni. Redan påbörjade utbyten fortgår.
  • Universitetet söker efter digitala lösningar på de disputationer som är inplanerade under våren.
  • Kuratorskollegiet (KK) kommer under eftermiddagen att hålla ett möte där nationernas nära framtid, i form av klubbar och andra evenemang, kommer att diskuteras.

I presskonferensen deltog Gustav Ekström, ordförande för Lunds universitetskårer, rektor Torbjörn von Schantz, förvaltningschef Susanne Kristensson och prorektor Sylvia Schwaag Serger.

The 17th of March at 14:30, a press conference was held about the spread of the coronavirus and the actions that Lund University is taking. The following points emerged during the press conference.

  • From Wednesday the 18th, tomorrow, all teaching and examination at Lund University will take place via digital channels. The campus, libraries and computer rooms will be kept open.
  • Students at Lund University will not be sent on scheduled exchanges, until June the 30th. Ongoing exchanges continue as usual.
  • The University is currently looking for digital solutions to the disputations that are planned to take place during the spring.
  • Kuratorskollegiet (KK) will hold a meeting during the afternoon where the student nations near future, in the form of clubs and other events, will be discussed.

The press conference was attended by; Gustav Ekström, Chairman of Lund University’s student associations, Torbjörn von Schantz, Vice Chancellor, Susanne Kristensson, Head of Administration and Sylvia Schwaag Serger, Deputy Vice Chancellor.
