One of the great things about Sweden is Sveriges Television’s (http://svtplay.se/) free online documentaries. New documentaries, which focus on all sorts of subjects, are added all the time and they are sometimes in English. The latest one I’ve been watching is about the tragic story of a man murdered by his girlfriend and how the justice system did not do its job: http://svtplay.se/t/129797/dox. Like many of the site’s documentaries, this story is depressing but interesting. You can find the documentaries by visiting the main homepage (first link above), then going to the ’Kategorier’ tab at the top of the page, then ’Samhalle & Fakta,’ then either the ’DOX’ or ’dokument inifran’ categories. It took me a ridiculously long time remember these steps…
