No consequences for racist comments at the Faculty of Medicine

During a seminar at the Faculty of Medicine several racist and xenophobic comments were submitted via an anonymous service. Vice Dean Thomas Hellmark says there will be no punishment for the medical students that wrote the comments.

A new Campus Plan towards 2050: Where the City and Campus meet

Lund University has presented a new Campus Plan for its campuses in Lund, Malmö, Helsingborg, and Ljungbyhed, setting future direction for construction, innovation, and development all the way to 2050.

From construction sites to studying the universe

Astrophysicist Thomas Bensby is an observational astronomer of stars and the director of graduate studies at Lund University’s department of physics. Thomas uses spectroscopy, a technique used to analyze a star’s spectrum, to trace where stars come from or if they were born together.

Malmö Nation offers free homework help

During the fall semester, Malmö Nation has been offering free homework sessions for upper secondary and high school students. The initiative, called Läxhjälpen, was made possible by a donation from the Red Cross and aims to provide school assistance for younger students.
